Good morning, everyone,
Another day, another discovery reborn!
Today, I want to explore with you the forgotten truths of this beautiful and bountiful earth we inhabit. There is no end to this journey, which inspires such a vibrant and exciting life.
As we live in a time of convenience, we have been brought up to outsource knowledge and blindly trust. This is truly a luxury we have become all too accustomed to. And while this advancement in civilization has aided us in many unfathomable ways, it has also left me personally feeling somewhat lost or incapable at times. Over the last four years, it became abundantly apparent to me that I was living a life of blind trust and limited knowledge.
With each new recipe I tried, it fueled my fire to learn more. Creating my homemade alternatives to basic household food items to eliminate additives then led me to household cleaning items to eliminate toxic chemicals, which has now led me even further to be curious about herbalism and the power of plant medicine.
Today’s article lays the groundwork for tomorrow as we will be exploring herbal remedies that don’t require fancy tools and can easily be made at home to prepare us for the fall and winter seasons.
My personal points of interest are more natural alternatives, but that is not to say if I get in a serious car accident, for example, that I want you to go into the forest and pick some plants for the pain.
Of course, take me to the hospital, call an ambulance!
But day to day, a headache, an upset stomach, a cold, now those are minor discomforts that I can tolerate while I learn about natural options without the synthetic pharmaceuticals. Leaning towards a very palatable introduction to the idea of learning easy natural remedies at home.
