Rise and shine, it's herbalism time!

Yesterday, we delved into some of the history behind modern medicine and its traditional roots in herbal medicine.

Today, we are looking at three beginner-level recipes for herbal remedies that can be safely prepared at home. As we all share enthusiasm for clean living and natural care, I want to say that exploring these topics and trying what works best for us individually is our choice, and while I encourage curiosity, I also deeply respect each and every one of you for making the choices you feel are best for you.

I chose these three recipes for various reasons, but mainly because the ailments they would be used to treat are minor, and therefore working through discomfort to find what works best for us poses minimal risk.

I am eager to explore these recipes with you and more as I uncover them and continue expanding my knowledge and learning!

So let's dive in.

Headaches, those pesky throbs that seem to want to squeeze our brains out through our temples. A headache can be caused by various factors, including tension, stress, dehydration, lack of sleep, eyestrain, or even certain foods or drinks. It's your body's way of telling you that something isn't quite right. In most types of headaches, the brain itself isn’t swelling. Instead, it’s usually the blood vessels, muscles, or nerves around the brain that are irritated or inflamed, causing the sensation of pain.
